B.B.A/B.C.A/B.B.M.(I.B.) Courses Common Entrance Examination 2010

As per decision taken by University authorities, Pune University is conducting a common entrance examination for
admission to 1 st year of B.B.A/B.C.A/B.B.M.(I.B.) course. Common Entrance examination is compulsory for 1st
year admission of above courses. |

Eligibility Criteria :
|
| |
- Higher Secondary School certificate (10+2) or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks,
with "English" as one of the subject.
- Three Years Diploma course after S.S.C. i.e. 10 th Standard, of Board of Technical Education conducted by
Govt. of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
- Two Years Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C., of Board of Technical Education conducted by
Govt. of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
- M.C.V.C.
- Every candidate has to appear common entrance test conducted by Uop/Association of Colleges/Institute.

Types of Seats :
|
| |
- Other State: maximum 10% of the sanctioned intake capacity.
- NRI: maximum 10% of the sanctioned intake capacity will be made by through Pune University International
Students Center.
- Foreign Students/Foreign Nationals/PIO: maximum 15% over and above the sanctioned intake capacity will
be made by Pune University International Students Center.
- Jammu & Kashmir Migrants: one seat over and above the sanctioned intake capacity.

Notes:

- Candidates belonging to Special Backward Class (SBC) will be offered reservation upto 2% seats of the seats
available for Maharashtra candidates, no separate seats are earmarked.
- Even if the candidate belonging to Backward Class category secures admission against a seat belonging to General
category by virtue of merit, such candidate has to produce all the necessary documents in support of the category
claimed at the time of admission.

Reservation for Physically Handicapped Candidates: |
| |
Three percent seats of total sanctioned intake capacity shall be reserved for Physically Handicapped Candidates. Out of these seats one percent
each for Blind, Deaf & Dumb, And Orthopedic Disorder. |

- Certificate of posting in case of defense and govt. servants.
- Certificate for stay in refugee camp for those staying in refugee camp.
- Certificate stating that the candidate belongs to displaced family.(In addition of the documents mentioned in

Addition Documents

- Original Mark sheet of std. 12 Examination at the time of taking admission and attested true copies of mark
sheet of same.
- Certified copy of entry in birth register or Std. X/ SSC/School leaving certificate as a proof of date of birth.
- Attested true copy of statement of marks of Std X.
- For students coming from colleges affiliated to Pune University, a Transfer Certificate from the college/board
is essential.
- A student coming from another University must produce a Migration Certificate and Transfer Certificate.
- Any other documents required by the college.
- Three Passport Size Photographs.
